Christine Curtis-Torgovec

Christine’s interest in nonprofit work was sparked by time spent as a teen and young adult, volunteering at local food pantries, and canvassing for local GOTV initiatives. Her experiences in volunteerism inspired her to seek out roles built around helping those in need receive the resources necessary to improve their lives and communities primarily through education.

Christine is joining EG from Brown University where she was a Regional Development Associate assisting Regional Development Directors with their fundraising efforts within specific major markets along the East Coast including New York, Boston, Washington DC, Atlanta, and Miami. Prior to her time at Brown, Christine was the Junior Executive Assistant to the Dean and Special Events Administrator for NYU Tandon School of Engineering where she handled gift processing, portfolio management, gift processing, Board events, and stewardship. She was also a volunteer and committee member working on the IDBE (Inclusion, Diversity, Belonging and Equality) efforts at Tandon.
