Shah B. Behzadi

Shah B. Behzadi has had an extensive career in various leadership roles within the telecommunications industry. Shah B. started their career at Primerica, Inc (Citi) and Network Equipment Technologies in management positions in information technology and carrier networks. Shah B. then moved on to Hughes Network Systems, where they served as the Technical Director for Information Technology and later as the Senior Director for Network Operations. During this time, Behzadi led the design, deployment, and support of international operations and managed a team of professionals in system and network engineering.

Behzadi then joined Comtech Mobile Datacom as the Vice President for Networks and IT, overseeing the company's network and IT functions. Shah B. later became the CIO of Etisalat AF, a subsidiary of Etisalat UAE, where they played a crucial role in their telecommunication operations in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Afterward, they joined Transaction Network Services as the VP of Global Network Operations. Currently, Behzadi works at EchoStar Corporation as the VP of Global IT Infrastructure & Operation, leading their global satellite and video delivery solutions. Throughout their career, Behzadi's work experience has encompassed areas such as network operations, IT infrastructure, satellite services, and secure communications technologies.

Shah B. Behzadi has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Communications Engineering from The George Washington University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering from Hofstra University. In addition to their formal education, they have also earned certifications including CISSP from (ISC)2, ITIL v3 Foundation from EXIN, and PMP from PMI.
