Jennifer Butler has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Jennifer'smost recent position was as the Chief People Officer at Ingram Barge Company, which they have held since January 2018. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Human Capital Management at Eco-Energy LLC. from October 2014 onwards. In this role, they were responsible for strategic Human Resource direction and execution, as well as leading the HR team in talent acquisition, compensation and benefits administration, talent management, and employee relations and engagement.

From October 2013 to September 2014, Jennifer was the Director of Organization Effectiveness at MedSolutions (now eviCore), where they led organization and leadership development, talent management, and employee engagement. Before that, from June 2009 to June 2013, they worked as the Director of Organization Development and Human Resources at Memory Suppliers/iPromo. In this role, they oversaw significant organizational change, including the formation of a new senior management team and successful integration of two companies.

Jennifer also has experience working at Card Marketing Services, where they served as the Chief Operating and HR Officer from October 2008 to December 2010. At Corporate Express Promotional Marketing, they held the position of VP Organization Development from September 2004 to September 2008. Additionally, they worked at AAIM Employers’ Association as the Director of Organization Development from May 2002 to September 2004, and at Staples (formerly Corporate Express) as the VP Organization Development for CE Specialty Businesses from February 1994 to March 2002.

Earlier in their career, Jennifer worked as a Training Manager at Maritz from May 1992 to February 1994 and Union Pacific from January 1990 to May 1992, where they held roles as Quality Improvement Manager and Assistant Manager of Training and Development.

Throughout their career, Jennifer has demonstrated a strong ability to lead and drive organizational change, develop and implement talent management strategies, and enhance employee engagement.

Jennifer Butler completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Psychology from Murray State University in 1987. Jennifer further pursued their studies and achieved a Masters of Science degree in Organization Communication from the same university, graduating in 1989.
