Position Details (What will you be doing?) 

The Regulatory Affairs Specialist is a project-based position who will work together with our established Regulatory Operations team. The Regulatory Affairs Specialist will assist the Reg Ops team with renewing various permits and licenses required in connection with the Company's business, as well as communicating with regulatory authorities, law enforcement, and other public agencies.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing and submitting license/permit applications for ecoATM kiosks in local jurisdictions to allow the business to maintain the regulatory compliance of the existing kiosk network.
  • Maintaining a steady weekly cadence of work against a schedule of upcoming due dates.
  • Assist with the oversight of ecoATM kiosk locations across CA and/other regions throughout the US, to ensure good legal standing at city, county, and state levels.
  • Being a primary point of contact for licensing authorities, regulators, and law enforcement, and ensuring positive interaction with all external stakeholders.
  • Filling out internal records, scanning copies of documents and logging progress in a CRM.
  • Mailing pertinent documents and keeping accurate files for each location and jurisdiction.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree OR 1+ year(s) of relevant work experience required.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM preferred.
  • Experience with managing filing requirements for a moderate to high-volume operation preferred.
  • Prior experience executing paperwork as required by third parties is strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proven record of excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Dependable and trustworthy. 
  • Must work well within a collaborative team environment. 
  • Excellent computer application skills, including Excel, Word and Adobe. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to resolve issues by both phone and email.

Business Travel (How much will you travel?)  Less than 5%

Location (Where will you be working?) San Diego, CA 

Pay Range (How much might you earn in your base salary?)  $22 to $30 (USD) Per Hour, Up to 40 Hours per week, estimated 4 months for initial project.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided per CA SB 1162 (“CA Pay Transparency Law”). Base pay information is based on market location. This position may also be eligible for short-term and long-term incentives based on individual and company performance.
