Yves Mayilamene

Yves has been Ecobank’s Group Executive, Human Resources (HR) since August 2018.

Prior to his appointment, Yves was Ecobank Group’s Deputy Head of HR and Head of HR for Ecobank Nigeria

Yves joined Ecobank following more than 15 years of HR experience in Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. He started his professional career with British American Tobacco (BAT) as a Graduate Trainee and held different senior HR positions with BAT in Congo, Switzerland, Senegal and Kenya. In 2006, Yves joined the telecoms industry to become the Chief HR Officer Francophone Africa for Celta / Zain. Four years later he was appointed Chief HR Officer Africa for Airtel, covering 17 countries.

Yves holds a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance and Management (Commercial Engineer) from the University of Mons in Belgium and various executive certificates and diplomas in leadership, change management and other HR related fields.
