Fahad Hafeez

Fahad Hafeez has a diverse work experience spanning several roles in product management and software quality assurance. Most recently, they worked as a Senior Product Manager at ecobee, starting in 2022. Prior to that, Fahad held the same role at Datto, Inc. from March 2022 to October 2022, and also served as a Product Manager from September 2020 to April 2022.

Before joining Datto, Inc., Fahad worked as a Product Manager at TradeRev, where they led product initiatives and acted as a customer advocate from December 2018 to July 2020. Fahad was proud of delivering the first integration pipeline with sister companies to share leftover business.

Fahad also gained experience as a Product Owner at BlueCat from August 2016 to December 2018, where they were responsible for translating roadmaps into workable backlogs and worked closely with Engineering teams to deliver products. At BlueCat, they served as the primary source of external information for the Scrum teams and provided clear definitions of targeted capabilities and their intended value to customers.

Prior to BlueCat, Fahad worked as a Product Owner/Business Analyst at CentriLogic from September 2015 to August 2016. Fahad also held roles at Fleet Complete, including Program Manager R&D from December 2014 to September 2015, and Software Analyst from June 2012 to December 2014.

Fahad's early work experience includes serving as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist contractor at Roy Speed & Ross Ltd from April 2012 to July 2013, and as a Teamlead QA V-Team & Sr. SQA Engineer at NextBridge (MasterControl) from August 2007 to January 2012.

Fahad started their career as an SQA Engineer at Creative Chaos in 2006.

Fahad Hafeez completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they pursued an MBA (32 Credits) in Management from Government College University, Lahore from 2008 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Fahad obtained the CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) certification from the Scrum Alliance in April 2016.
