Richa Sharma

Richa Sharma has a diverse range of work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. Richa is currently working at ecobee as the Senior Director of Product, Home Monitoring since June 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Director of Product Management at ecobee from June 2022 to July 2023, and Director of Product Management from August 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining ecobee, Richa worked at Scotiabank as the Director of Digital Product from April 2019 to July 2021. In this role, they led the digital customer acquisition and growth team, focusing on simplifying compliance and enhancing the banking experience for existing and prospective customers.

From 2018 to 2019, Richa worked at Loblaw Digital as a Product Lead, where they played a key role in building a convenient and scalable marketplace experience. Richa also led the digital experience for JoeFresh on all platforms.

Prior to that, from 2017 to 2018, Richa worked at Cleartrip.com as the Director of Product Management. In this role, they were responsible for the consumer experience, partner platform, and marketing channels for the accommodation business.

From 2014 to 2017, Richa served as the Associate Director of Product Management at Myntra, where they led the shopping experience on mobile and web platforms. Richa was responsible for strategy, roadmap planning, and product development.

In 2012, Richa worked at HT Media Ltd. as the Head of Product - New Business, where they launched a real estate auction portal and worked on the movies ratings & reviews portal, Desimartini.

From 2010 to 2012, Richa worked at Snapdeal as a Senior Product Manager. Richa played a crucial role in transforming the company from a daily savings business model to a large marketplace, spearheading the development of customer portal, order management, and payment systems.

From 2007 to 2010, Richa worked at Info Edge India Ltd. as a Product Manager, responsible for the complete product development and ownership of the middle east jobsite, naukrigulf.com.

Lastly, in 2007, Richa had a Management Trainee role at Reliance Communications, where they worked on gathering customer requirements, analysis, creating customized solutions, and drafting Request for Proposals (RFPs) for telecom, real estate, and banking sectors.

Richa Sharma completed their education with an MBA degree in IT & Marketing from Himachal Pradesh University, from the years 2005 to 2007. Richa also holds a B.tech degree in Electronics from Kurukshetra University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the certification of Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance in November 2017.
