Idamis E. Rodriguez Nazario is currently a Teaching Assistant for ATM OCN 100 (Weather and Climate) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where studies towards a Master’s degree in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences are also underway. Experience as a Content Expert at EcoExploratorio began in February 2023, and prior to that, Idamis held an internship with The Ocean Foundation focused on social vulnerability related to ocean acidification in Puerto Rico. Additional internships were completed at Wapa TV and under Meteoróloga Karuska Matos, where responsibilities included preparing weather forecasts. Leadership roles include serving as the UPRM AMS Student Chapter Leader and Co-Leader in the Demonstration Committee, and participation in the NOAA CESSRST Fellowship. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Geology, Atmospheric Sciences, and Meteorology from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
