Sebastian Lucae has a diverse work experience in various industries. Sebastian is currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at EcoG, a German tech company specializing in technology for DC charging stations for electric vehicles. Prior to this, Sebastian worked at Digital Charging Solutions GmbH where they held multiple roles including Director of Business Development & Partner Management, Head of Strategic Partnerships & Markets, Head of Strategy & Corporate Development, Head of Business Development North America, and Business Development Manager. Sebastian also has experience at Strategy Engineers GmbH & Co. KG, where they worked as a Manager, Associate, and Business Analyst. Additionally, they have interned at BMW and Knorr-Bremse, gaining insights into market and competitor analysis, as well as business development and strategic planning.

Sebastian Lucae has a strong educational background in Mechanical Engineering. In 2007, they began their studies at the Technical University of Munich, where they pursued a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Sebastian successfully completed their degree in 2013. During their time at the university, Sebastian participated in an exchange program at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2011, where they focused on studying MBA-related subjects for a semester.

After completing their Diploma, Sebastian continued their education at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2013. There, they worked on their Diploma Thesis, also in the field of Mechanical Engineering. It is unknown whether they completed their thesis before the end of the year or if the duration of their stay was shorter.
