Martin Heinen

Martin Heinen has extensive experience in ecology and environmental advisory roles, currently serving as an Adviseur ecologie at Ecogroen since May 2006. Responsibilities include providing guidance on biodiversity, green living environments, BREEAM, and nature-inclusive building practices at the Amersfoort location. Additionally, Martin worked as a city ecologist for the Municipality of Zwolle in early 2018, focusing on species protection assessments, urban ecological advice, and citizen inquiries. Prior roles include a long tenure at Provincie Overijssel, overseeing environmental inventory projects, and positions with the Ministry of LNV and other organizations, where Martin contributed to ecological research and policy implementation. Martin holds diplomas in Green Facilities Management and Horticulture from recognized educational institutions in Utrecht.
