Om Malik is an internationally recognized expert in environmental health and industrial hygiene, possessing over 40 years of experience in the field. As the CEO and Principal of ECOH since June 2000, Om Malik has been instrumental in advancing industry standards for hazardous materials management. Prior to co-founding ECOH, Om Malik served as the Acting Director of the Occupational Health and Safety Branch at the Ontario Ministry of Labour from November 1975 to May 2000, where responsibilities included directing the control of hazardous materials across various industries. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and Master of Science in Geology from the University of Saskatchewan, post-doctoral fellowships in Geology from Carleton University and the University of Toronto, and a B.Sc. with honors and M.Sc. in Geology/Earth Science from Punjab University, Chandigarh, India.
