Steve Thein

Steve Thein is an experienced finance professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Vice President of Finance at Ecolab, Steve has held multiple leadership roles across various sectors within the company since February 2000. These positions include Vice President of Finance for Global Textile Care, Global Healthcare, Global Services and Specialty Sector, and Global Quick Service Restaurants, among others. Prior to Ecolab, Steve worked at Imation as a Treasury Manager/Analyst and Corporate Auditor, and at 3M in a similar auditing capacity. Steve began the professional journey at Ernst & Young as a Senior/Staff Auditor. Academic credentials include an MBA in Finance from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management and a BA in Accounting from Saint John's University.
