Marion Givhan

Marion Givhan is a dedicated educator and artist with a diverse background in teaching and the arts. Currently serving as a French Teacher at Asheville School since July 2023, Marion also works as an English Language Assistant at Ecole alsacienne. Prior experience includes English Language Assistant roles at Académie de Toulouse and Académie de Versailles, where Marion taught English to French secondary students. As a painter, Marion specializes in still life, landscapes, and portraits, accepting commissions for artwork. Additional experience includes writing and editorial roles, such as Contributing Writer for Troy Messenger and A&E Editor for The Sewanee Purple, as well as various internships and tutoring positions related to art and writing. Marion holds a Master's degree in Teaching French as a Second or Foreign Language from Middlebury College and has studied acting at prestigious institutions like LAMDA and Michael Howard Studios.
