Dr. Mirko Kämpf

Dr. Mirko Kämpf has a long and varied work experience. Dr. Mirko began as a Java and Linux Trainer at the Institut für Schulung und Beruf (isb) in 2001. In 2009, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg, where they conducted research on complex systems analysis. In 2011, they co-founded and acted as CEO of bitOcean UG, offering consulting and development services for advanced analytics and research. In 2012, they began working at Cloudera as a Senior Solutions Architect and Senior Instructor. In 2019, they moved to Confluent and held the roles of Senior Solutions Architect and Technical Engagement Manager and Solutions Architect. Dr. Mirko is currently CTO & Chief Architect at ecolytiq GmbH.

Dr. Mirko Kämpf's education history includes a Doctor of Natural Science degree in Statistical Physics from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg (2009-2017), a Diplom Physiker degree in Physics from Technische Universität Chemnitz (2004-2009), and a Berufsabschluss als Tischler degree in Tischlerhandwerk/Tischler from Schulmöbelfabrik Beutha (1991-1994). Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from institutions such as TigerGraph, DataStax, Confluent, Cloudera, School of Information, Center for the Study of Complex Systems, EECS University of Michigan, FernUniversität in Hagen, Rational University, and FH Deggendorf.
