Alec McCarren

Alec McCarren is an Analyst at Econ One Research, having started in September 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Assistant at the Adele H. Stamp Student Union from August 2021 to September 2023, where management of over 25 undergraduate staff involved hiring, training, and scheduling. Alec also contributed as a Research Assistant in the Economics Department at the University of Maryland, assisting with projects under Dr. Ethan Kaplan, and worked as a Teaching Assistant for a Game Theory course. Leadership roles included Vice President of the University of Maryland Residence Hall Association and Student Fees Coordinator, as well as a Legislative Intern for Delegate Carol Krimm during the Maryland General Assembly's 2020 session. Alec's educational background encompasses a Master of Science in Applied Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Mathematics, both from the University of Maryland.
