Apurva Naik

Apurva Naik is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in economic development and governmental relations. Currently serving as an Economic Development Integrator at the U.S. Economic Development Administration since May 2020, Apurva facilitates interagency collaboration and the strategic investment of federal resources in economic development. Previous roles include Director of Government Relations at APRO, where Apurva led public policy initiatives, and Board Member of the Heart of Texas Workforce Development Board, focusing on workforce programs across six counties. At the Texas Workforce Commission, Apurva had a significant impact on policy formation and project management for strategic initiatives, including the "College Credit for Heroes" program. Apurva's early career includes service as an Operations Specialist in the US Navy and various journalism positions at Texas Tech University. Apurva holds a Master of Public Administration from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Mass Communications from Texas Tech University.
