Chrissy Blitz is an experienced communications and external affairs professional currently serving as the Vice President of Communications and External Affairs at the Economic Security Project since March 2023. Previously, Blitz held key roles at PL+US: Paid Leave for the United States, including Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President of Marketing and Communications, where significant contributions were made to expand paid leave legislation. Additional experience includes consulting for various clients through a brand and communications consultancy, managing communications for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, and overseeing marketing and communications as Communications Director for Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. Blitz also supported the First Lady Silda Wall Spitzer in the Office of Governor Eliot Spitzer and contributed to the Governor's campaign as a Special Assistant. Blitz began the career as a Congressional intern for Congresswoman Doris Matsui and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
