Matthew Forrest

Matthew Forrest is the Founder and CEO of EcoHoist, a company that develops hoisting equipment for the underground mining industry. In addition to this role, Matthew is also the Founder of Economical Energy, where Matthew is investigating a new utility-scale energy storage technique. With previous experience as an Analytics Engineer at MaxMine and a Research Engineer at the University of Adelaide, Matthew has a strong background in engineering. As the former Engineering Manager of The University of Adelaide Formula SAE Team, Matthew also has experience in leadership roles. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronic) with a Bachelor of Mathematical and Computer Sciences from the University of Adelaide.
