Arek Bielak

Arek Bielak is a data analyst who has interned at various prestigious companies, including Bain & Company, Nicolaus Copernicus University, and Polasik Research. Arek is currently a member of the Merit Team at Econverse. Arek has completed a training program built from the Analyst onboarding module, which included workshops on PowerPoint and Excel, as well as M&A, valuation, and Private Equity. Arek has also presented findings to a simulated Steering Committee. In addition to their data analyst internships, Arek has also interned at the Ministry of Finance in the Tax Analysis Department. There, they researched tax-related topics and created reports later used by other departments in the Ministry. Arek also explored the legality and existence of excise on nicotine pouches in countries around the world, allowing the Ministry’s Excise Duty Department to begin a re-evaluation of Poland’s stance on the subject.

Arek Bielak completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford. Prior to this, they completed a High School Diploma from Uniwersyteckie Liceum Ogólnokształcące in Toruń, and a Secondary School Diploma from ZS UMK Gimnazjum i Liceum Akademickie.

Their manager is Jakub Zahradniczek, Head of Merit. They are on a team with Szymon Florek - Merit Team, Kacper Mąkolski - Merit Team.
