Augusto Escobar Duarte is an experienced financial professional with a strong background in portfolio and strategy management within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as a Senior Portfolio and Strategy Analyst at Ecopetrol since July 2019, Augusto promotes sustainable financial growth by managing exploration portfolios and leading strategic planning initiatives across multiple countries, including Colombia, Brazil, the United States, and Mexico. From January 2008 to September 2018, Augusto held various roles at Ecopetrol as a Financial and Business Analyst, focusing on economic evaluations for exploratory projects and strategic business growth. Additionally, Augusto has accumulated valuable experience in financial analysis at several companies earlier in the career.
