Diego Mendoza Mendoza

Diego Mendoza Mendoza is an experienced professional in social investment and corporate responsibility, currently serving as the Social Investment Promotion Leader at Ecopetrol since January 2022. In this role, Diego leads the promotion of social investment and the establishment of strategic alliances with stakeholders, while also measuring impact to enhance social initiatives. Diego actively participates on the Boards of several foundations, including Fundación Amanecer and Fundación Del Alto Magdalena, providing strategic guidance aligned with Ecopetrol's social responsibility strategies. Prior professional experiences include leadership roles in social responsibility and investment at SierraCol Energy and Equión Energía Limited, as well as project coordination at BP and C-O2 Consultores y Asesores. Diego holds multiple degrees from Universidad del Rosario and a certificate from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
