Sean Lowery

Sean Lowery has a diverse background in the geospatial industry. Their current role is as the Sr. Director of Business and Product Development at Ecopia AI, where they are focused on using AI-generated geospatial data to address the 9-1-1 technology gap and expand internet access.

Prior to Ecopia AI, Sean worked at Maxar Technologies, where they played a key role in developing partnerships with innovative companies in the fields of machine learning, computer vision, remote sensing, data science, and geospatial mapping.

Before joining Maxar, Sean had a long tenure at DigitalGlobe. Sean held various sales and management positions, including Sr. Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Regional Sales Representative, Inside Sales Representative, and Customer Service Representative. During their time at DigitalGlobe, Sean successfully managed and grew their book of business, developed strategies for capturing revenue and attaining growth targets, and closed large analytic services contracts, including the Satellite Sentinel Project monitoring civil unrest and genocide in Sudan and South Sudan.

Sean Lowery received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Astronomy from the University of Colorado Boulder in the year 2006.
