Thomas Okine

Thomas Okine is a GIS & Monitoring Officer at EcoPlanet Bamboo since June 2023, bringing extensive experience from previous roles as a Geographic Information System Specialist at Lands Commission Ghana from September 2017 to June 2023, and a Valuation consultant for the ACHIMOTA BIFURCATION project under the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA) in November 2018. Thomas also completed an internship with Electricity Company of Ghana Limited in July 2017. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Geographic Information Science from the University of Ghana, expected in September 2025, a certificate in RPAS (Drone) Piloting and Data Processing from the University of Mines and Technology, and a certificate in Python Programming from OpenLabs Ghana. Thomas holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Resource Development, with a focus on Geographic Information Science and Cartography, from the University of Ghana.
