Taraneh Emam

Taraneh Emam is a Senior Conservation Biologist and Project Manager at ECORP Consulting, Inc. since May 2015, where expertise includes providing mitigation and conservation services, developing long-term management plans, and collaborating with local agencies and land trusts. Prior to this role, Taraneh was a Graduate Researcher and Fellow at UC Davis Ecology Graduate Group from September 2009 to March 2015, focusing on grassland restoration and invasive plant ecology. Taraneh has also contributed as a Grassland Ecology Research Technician at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2008 and as an instructor and tutor in STEM subjects at Mills College Upward Bound from 2004 to 2007. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Ecology (Restoration Emphasis) from the University of California, Davis (2009-2015) and a BA with Honors in Environmental Science from Mills College (2004-2008).
