Legal Counsel at Ecorus

Robert Strooper has a diverse work experience, most recently serving as a Legal Counsel at Ecorus since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Grant Consultant - Energy, Water and Technology at Evers + Manders Subsidieadviseurs | Evers + Manders Grant Consultants from January 2018 to November 2020. In this role, they provided advice on financing technologically innovative projects through grants and subsidies, including grant application writing, consortium building, process coordination, and cooperation with grant providers. Robert also completed an internship at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Sri Lanka and the Maldives from September 2015 to March 2016, where they undertook assignments in economic, political, and agricultural departments, advised Dutch businesses, and assisted with speechwriting for the (deputy-) Ambassador.

Robert Strooper obtained a Bachelor's degree in International and European Law from the University of Groningen in 2016. Robert later pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Energy & Climate Law at the same university, graduating in 2017. Robert obtained additional certifications for both of their degrees from the University of Groningen, Faculty of Law.
