Nerea Ruiz Fuente

Nerea Ruiz Fuente possesses extensive experience in environmental management and policy, holding various leadership positions since 2017 at ECOS, including Global Engagement Director and Policy Director. Prior roles include Technical Officer at FEAD and Natural Sciences’ Project Coordinator at UNESCO, where responsibilities encompassed project management and policy development. Nerea has also contributed to environmental project initiatives with organizations such as Limia & Martín, the European Commission, and Bakeaz. Nerea’s academic background includes a Master of Science in Environmental Pollution and Toxicology and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, both from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.
