Sabin Ray is a Summer Associate through ICM’s Mosaic Fellowship.
Prior to joining EIF, Sabin was an Associate at the World Resources Institute, a global environmental research organization. At WRI, Sabin worked to scale nature-based solutions through the Natural Infrastructure Initiative and the Global Restoration Initiative. Her notable projects included leading the creation of sustainable forestry investment strategies with the Global Impact Investing Network, developing the first global guidelines for measuring restoration progress with the United Nations, and advising government leaders in the United States, Latin America, Africa, and Asia on their land-use strategies.
She is currently an MBA candidate at UC Berkley Haas, pursuing her degree in impact finance. During her MBA, she has helped Cambium Carbon raise its Seed Round to sell urban forest products on its two-sided marketplace; worked with Provenance Capital Group to assess regenerative food, forestry, and fiber funds; and designed a financial model for regenerative ocean farming. She is a Student Venture Partner for the Haas Impact Fund and the Sustainable Investment Fund, as well as a Student Advisory Board member for the Haas Sustainable and Impact Finance initiative and the Center for Responsible Business.
Sabin graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a BA in International Relations.
