Carolyn Mehta

Carolyn Mehta is an experienced professional in community engagement and project management, currently serving as the Illinois Field Manager at Apex Clean Energy since August 2022, where responsibilities include managing public acceptance campaigns for renewable energy projects and drafting communications. Previously, Carolyn was an Engagement Manager at Cultivate Labs, Inc. from 2020 to 2022, overseeing a team and engaging a global community to produce valuable forecasting data. Carolyn has also held roles such as Family Liaison at Family Independence Initiative, Deputy GOTV Director for JB for Governor, and Data Manager at SEIU, where skills in recruitment, data management, and voter mobilization were developed. Carolyn’s earlier experience includes positions at Educators for Excellence, S.O.U.L. Chicago, Center for Conflict Resolution, and Obama for America. Carolyn holds a Master of Public Affairs in Economic Policy and a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
