Scott King

Scott King is a Senior Environmental Scientist at Ecosystem Planning and Restoration, focusing on stream and wetland restoration projects for environmental mitigation since June 2022. Previously, Scott served as an Environmental Specialist and Project Manager at Michael Baker Engineering, where responsibilities included site evaluations, hydric soil identification, and environmental permitting. Scott's experience also includes working as a Watershed Planner for the NC Ecosystem Enhancement Program, contributing to the enhancement and preservation of local ecosystems. Prior roles involved extensive research on water quality at North Carolina State University and environmental consulting at Environmental Specialties Group, specializing in wetland delineations and assessments. Scott holds a BS in Biology from William & Mary, an MS in Soil Science from North Carolina State University, and a certificate in Native Plant Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
