Katie Atkinson

Katie Atkinson, PE, is a seasoned Water Resources Engineer currently employed at Ecosystem Services since January 2024. Prior to this role, Katie garnered extensive experience at Timmons Group from March 2016 to January 2024, where responsibilities included Project Manager and multiple positions as Project Engineer. Additionally, Katie held the position of Project Engineer at The Conservation Fund from June 2015 to January 2016. Earlier experience includes internships at the Virginia Tech Office of Energy and Sustainability and ONeil Engineering Services, along with roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. Katie earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech between 2011 and 2015.
