Safa Fennia

Safa Fennia is a Data Scientist at Ecov since April 2018, specializing in spatial analysis of mobility data, including GPS, FCD, and FMD, as well as the spatialization of tabular mobility-related data. In this role, Safa has developed tools for calculating and visualizing movement flows using Python, Geopandas, Folium, and Kepler.gl. Prior to this position, Safa completed an end-of-studies internship as a GIS Analyst, focusing on the implementation of a carpooling potential diagnostic tool. Additionally, an internship at the Université libre de Bruxelles involved developing a dasymetric cartographic tool for modeling population density distribution, while at IGN, tasks included 2D representation of a sports complex and georeferencing aerial images. Safa holds a Master's degree in Geomatics from Ecole nationale des Sciences géographiques and previously obtained a Scientific Baccalaureate with a focus on Mathematics.
