Rio Alegre

Rio Alegre, MPH, currently serves as a Co-Instructor and Teaching Assistant at Brock University, overseeing courses focused on professional development in public health. In addition, Rio holds the position of Director on the Board of Directors for the Brock University Alumni Association, where efforts are directed towards enhancing alumni engagement. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Onboarding Manager at EcoVadis, leading client onboarding and management, and as Team Lead at the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General, where Rio managed a mobile community vaccine services program during the COVID-19 pandemic. Previous roles span public health consulting, program management, and research, including significant contributions to COVID-19 vaccination strategies with both the Ontario Ministry of Health and Hamilton's public health services. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree in Public Health from Brock University.
