Andreas Flach

Andreas Flach has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Andreas is currently working as the CTO (Chief Technology Officer) at ecovium, where they are responsible for driving products and technology. Andreas is leading the transformation of a set of software solutions into a unified SaaS E2E supply chain execution solution. Prior to this, Andreas worked as a Senior Consultant, providing consulting services for companies, teams, and individuals on their digital transformation journey, emphasizing agile mindset and methodologies. Andreas also served as a Business Consultant at Swire Shipping, where they contributed to business consulting projects. Andreas held the position of Chief Product Officer at Maersk Digital, leading product management for new software products and business models driven by data analytics and AI at A.P. Moller - Maersk. Andreas also played a crucial role in setting up product management capabilities at Maersk Digital. Earlier in their career, Andreas worked as the COO and Executive Vice President of Products & Services at Avira, leading customer-facing B2C products and customer service. Andreas diversified the product portfolio and transformed the product organization to a product-driven one. Andreas also served as the Vice President of Data Protection Product Development at Sophos, where they were responsible for the development of data protection products and integration of encryption product development teams from Utimaco. Additionally, they have prior experience at SAP AG, where they held various roles, including Vice President, Program Director, Development Manager, and Development Architect, involved in software development, product maintenance, and customer support for specialized software modules.

Andreas Flach has a comprehensive education history. In 1991, they began their studies at the University of Mannheim, where they pursued a degree in Business Administration and Information Systems, earning a Diplom in 1996. Later, in 2007, they decided to further their knowledge and skills by enrolling at the Mannheim Business School, where they successfully obtained an MBA in 2008. More recently, in 2017, Andreas attended the Harvard Business School Executive Education program, focusing on Strategic IQ and the creation of smarter corporations.
