Dr Manny Pohl Am

Dr. Manny Pohl AM is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and asset accumulation. Currently serving as Managing Director at Athelney Trust Plc since April 2019, Dr. Pohl also holds the positions of Chairman of the Board and Investment Committee at ECP Asset Management, and Executive Chairman at EC Pohl & CO. Previously, Dr. Pohl founded Hyperion Asset Management in 1996, leading it until 2012 and overseeing its growth to a substantial portfolio. Early career roles include Investment Manager at Westpac Investment Management Limited and Director and Head of Research at Davis Borkum Hare Inc, a leading stockbroking firm in South Africa. Dr. Pohl holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from North-West University, an MBA from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
