Gene Kirby is President of C. G. Kirby Partners, LLC an independent management consulting firm focused on the financial services industry and also serves as Chairman of New Market Partners, LLC a specialty consulting firm focused on helping banks meet the needs of underserved consumers.. Prior to forming his consulting firm he spent nearly 30 years in the banking industry, most recently as President of NewAlliance Bank in New Haven, CT where he led all business lines across the company. He also served as Corporate Executive Vice President with SunTrust Bank, responsible for the retail line of business, the commercial line of business, consumer product management, call center operations and corporate marketing, and Director of eBusiness. He is a former Chairman of the Consumer Bankers Association, is active across the financial services industry and is involved with multiple charitable and community organizations.
