Eric Wachsman

Eric Wachsman is the Director of Maryland Energy Innovation Institute and the University of Maryland Energy Research Center at the University of Maryland. Eric is also the Founder of Ion Storage Systems and currently serves as the President of ECS - The Electrochemical Society. Prior to their current roles, Eric was the Director of the Florida Institute for Sustainable Energy at the University of Florida. Eric holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University, an MS in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
