Scott Muri

Scott Muri, Ed.D., currently serves as Superintendent Emeritus for Ector County Independent School District since July 2019, following tenure as Superintendent of Schools in the same district. Previously, Scott held the role of Superintendent of Schools at Spring Branch Independent School District from July 2015 to June 2019 and served as Deputy Superintendent of Academics for Fulton County Schools from May 2012 to June 2015, overseeing extensive academic operations. In earlier positions within Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Scott functioned as Chief Information Officer, Zone Superintendent, and Area Superintendent, leading initiatives across various geographic learning zones. Scott's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University, a Master of Educational Leadership from Stetson University, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Wingate University.
