Christi Champion

Christi Champion is a seasoned nursing professional with extensive experience in critical care and nursing management. Currently serving as Nursing Manager at ECU Health since August 2022, Christi oversees the care of acutely ill patients in a step-down ICU unit, performing comprehensive patient assessments and administering IV medications. Prior roles include Travel Registered Nurse at Aya Healthcare, Assistant Nurse Manager at Northeast Georgia Health System, and various critical care nursing positions at CaroMont Health and Novant Health, where Christi demonstrated leadership as a Charge Nurse and precepted nursing students. Academically, Christi holds a Master’s degree in Health Systems Leadership from East Carolina University, a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing from Central Piedmont Community College.
