Julie KennedyOehlert has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Julie currently serves as the Chief Experience & Brand Officer at ECU Health since September 2016. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Administrative Officer / Associate Chief Experience Officer at the University of California, San Diego Health from March 2015 to July 2016. In this role, they had responsibilities in ambulatory care and the development of a sustainable culture of exceptional experience. Before that, Julie was the Vice President of Patient Experience at The University of Arizona Health Network from September 2013 to March 2015, where they led various operational aspects related to patient experience. Julie is also a Caring Economy Leader and Speaker for the Caring Economy Campaign. Julie started their career as a Consultant and Speaker at Studer Group, where they specialized in healthcare leadership coaching and international speaking engagements from January 2001 to August 2013.
Julie KennedyOehlert obtained their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Carroll University, where they studied from 1981 to 1987. Julie later pursued a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Minnesota, specializing in Innovations and HealthCare Leadership, from 2011 to 2014. In addition, they are currently in the process of obtaining LGBT Certification for the University of Arizona Health Network from the Health Care Equality Index.
