Marcus Bost has a diverse work experience in various industries. Marcus is currently serving as the Director of Care Innovations at ECU Health since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Vidant Health from 2013 to 2022, holding roles such as the Director of Vidant Care Innovations, Business Process Consultant & Program Manager, and IT Business Relationship Management & PMO Manager. Before joining Vidant Health, Marcus was the President of Healthcare Consulting Partners from 2010 to 2013. Marcus also served as the Board President of Southern Ohio Healthcare Network from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, Marcus worked as the CIO at Adena Health System from 2006 to 2010, where they implemented telemedicine solutions to improve patient care. Marcus held the position of General Manager at Horizon Telcom, Inc. from 1999 to 2006. Marcus also gained experience at Boehringer Ingelheim and UPS, where they worked as a WAN Manager - IS and Project Manager IT, respectively. Furthermore, they served as an Emergency Medical Technician & Firefighter in the United States Air Force from 1989 to 1995.
Marcus Bost obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Ohio University, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Marcus later earned an MBA from Franklin University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Certificate of Completion in AMA's PMP Exam Prep Express from the American Management Association in 2016, a Six Sigma Black Belt from Pendleton Consulting Group, LLC in 2014, and a Certified Professional Project Manager (CPPM) from The George Washington University in 2001.
