Robert French

Robert French, BSEM, CHSP, CHEC, USA (ret), has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Robert most recently worked as the Market Director Facilities and Life Safety Engineer for HCA Healthcare's Capital Division since March 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Facilities at ECU Health from March 2022. Before transitioning to the healthcare sector, Robert worked at Bon Secours Health System as the Director of Engineering starting in September 2017. Robert also held the position of Director of Facilities at Community Health Systems from January 2016 to September 2017.

Prior to their career in healthcare, Robert served in the U.S. Army, where they held the rank of Command Sergeant Major. Robert served in this role at both the U.S. Army and Joint Readiness Training Center, Operations Group from June 2010 to July 2012 and June 2012 to August 2015, respectively. Robert's diverse work experience demonstrates their expertise in facilities management, engineering, and leadership.

Robert French completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Upper Iowa University, which took place from 2009 to 2016. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications, including Certified Healthcare Safety Professional from the International Board for Certification of Safety Managers in December 2017, Certified Hospital Emergency Coordinator from Augusta University in 2016, and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification in 2016.
