Melanie Sullivan

Mel Sullivan, Ed.D. has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Melanie (Mel) is currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer at Ecumen since April 2019.

Prior to their current position, Mel held the role of Adjunct Professor at the University of Minnesota from July 2016 to July 2021.

Melanie (Mel) also has significant experience at Constellation, where they served as the Chief People Officer from August 2017 to March 2019 and as an Executive in New Partner Development from October 2016 to March 2019.

Before joining Constellation, Mel worked at Twin Cities Orthopedics as an Advisor from October 2016 to October 2017 and held the position of CEO-East Metro/COO from July 2015 to October 2016.

Their career started at St. Croix Orthopaedics, P.A., where they served as CEO for an impressive 16 years from 1999 to July 2015.

Melanie (Mel) Sullivan, Ed.D. attended the University of St. Thomas from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Organization Development. In addition, they hold certifications in Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, obtained in September 2023, and Team Emotional Intelligence (EI) Accreditation from Ei World, obtained in 2017.
