Athu Karume

Athu Karume began their work experience in 2001 as an Associate Director at Thomson Financial, where they worked until 2007. Athu then joined Thomson Reuters as the Director of Corporate Advisory Services from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, Karume became a Director at INFINIT GROUP LTD until 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they served as Country Director at First Access, before transitioning to the role of Business Development Director for Africa until 2017. Most recently, Karume became the President of South and East Africa Markets at eCurrency in 2018.

Athu Karume attended Northeastern University from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Finance. In 1998, they enrolled at Boston University and completed a Graduate Certificate in International Business, focusing on International Business and Finance, in 1999.
