Alexander Kazachek

Alexander Kazachek has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Alexander started their career in 2006 as a Financial Manager in the Corporate Finance Department at Gallery. In 2007, they joined KPMG Cyprus as a Senior Auditor in the CIS and Eastern Europe Group.

In 2009, Kazachek became a Financial Manager in the Corporate Finance Department at YOTA (Scartel LLC). That same year, they also joined Telconet Capital LP as an Associate, where they worked on major transactions for the PE/VC fund and family office, with a focus on the TMT sector. Alexander held financial management positions in both the fund's GP and portfolio company (Yota) until August 2012.

From 2010 to July 2012, Kazachek served as a Financial Controller at Wooden Fish Agency Limited, a family office and management company of the Telconet Capital LP fund. In this role, they established and supervised middle-office and treasury functions, prepared financial reports, communicated with auditors, and managed budget control procedures and payments. Alexander also played a role in recruiting and training junior staff.

In 2013, Kazachek worked as a Senior Investment Analyst at Invest AG. In 2014, they took on the role of Board Observer at Ticketland.ru and Ecwid, and also served as an Investment Manager at iTech Capital.

Since 2018, Kazachek has been with Ecwid, first as a Product Manager and later as the Head of Analytics.

Alexander Kazachek completed a Master's degree in Finance from the London Business School in 2012-2013, with a focus in Corporate Finance. Alexander also holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), earned between 2000 and 2005. In addition, Alexander obtained a certification in Accounting and Finance from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Alexander has also acquired several additional certifications over the years, including Analyzing and Visualizing Data in Looker and Developing Data Models with LookML from Coursera in September 2022. Alexander obtained a Data Analyst certification from Practicum by Yandex in July 2021, and a Product Management certification from #tceh in January 2018. Alexander also completed a Machine Learning course from Coursera in April 2016.
