Sulynn Choong MAPP has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. Sulynn Choong began their career as a Positive Change Strategist/Executive Coach at Human Capital Perspectives. In 2008, they became the Director of Human Capital Perspectives at Perspective Strategies. In 2010, they began working as an Associate Coach at ICLIF and as a Coach at IMD. In 2011, they took on the role of Talent Coach at Sapura Secured Technologies and Faculty at The Corporate Theatre. In 2012, they became a Leadership Development Consultant & Executive Coach at Executive Development Associates and an Associate Coach/Facilitator at Black Dog Consultants Ltd. Finally, in 2014, they began working as an Associate Coach at the Asia Pacific Institute of Coaching. In 2006, they founded and became the Chief Engagement Officer of the Asian Center for Applied Positive Psychology.
Sulynn Choong MAPP has a comprehensive education history. Sulynn Choong obtained a Master's Degree in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006. Prior to that, they received a B.Sc. in Psychology from Upper Iowa University in 2005. In 1982, they earned an ICSA from RMIT University. Lastly, they obtained a B. Econs in Accounting & Finance; Organisational Behavior from Monash University from 1978-1981. Additionally, they have several certifications, including Certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner from Genos International in 2019, Creating a Leadership Development Program from LinkedIn in 2019, The Neuroscience of Learning from LinkedIn in 2019, Inspiring Leadership through Emotional Intelligence from Coursera Course Certificates in 2015, Certified Master Performance Coach from JMC Coach Mastery Academy in 2008, and Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from International Coach Federation in 2011.
