Madhumita Chakrabarty

Madhumita Chakrabarty is an experienced Functional Safety Manager/Engineer currently working at EDAG Group since April 2024. Prior to this role, Madhumita spent nearly eight years at AVL Software and Functions GmbH, first as a Functional Safety Manager where responsibilities included creating system failure tree analyses for power inverters and managing external functional safety assessments, and earlier as a Functional Safety Engineer specializing in battery management systems in accordance with ISO 26262 and ASPICE standards. Madhumita's academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Automotive Software Engineering from Technische Universität Chemnitz and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Bhilai Institute of Technology Durg. A Master's thesis focused on developing a security testing framework for automated systems demonstrates a solid foundation in technical security development. Additionally, Madhumita gained early industry experience as an intern in technical safety development.
