Simon Gallimore

Simon Gallimore is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the insurance industry. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at EDAM Group since May 2021, Simon previously held key leadership roles including Vice President of Motor and Liabilities Claims UK at AIG from October 2016 to May 2021, where responsibility included leading claims teams across multiple UK locations and an offshore team. Prior to this, Simon was a Senior Claims Manager at Chartis, overseeing the Casualty Claims function for UK commercial claims and managing a large team. Simon also served as Head of Claims at Tescobank's Insurance Division, where responsibilities included establishing the claims function and developing partnerships. Beginning a career at RBS Insurance, Simon held titles such as Strategic Development Manager and Claims Operations Leader. Educated at Sale Boys Grammar School, Simon earned 8 O Levels.
