Mary Adams

Mary Adams has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Mary currently works as a Counsel at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, a role they began in October 2022. Prior to this, they were a Senior Associate at Peckar & Abramson, P.C. from October 2021 to October 2022. From February 2021 to October 2021, they served as a Counsel at Seyfarth Shaw LLP.

Mary also has experience as an Associate at Segal McCambridge Singer & Mahoney from March 2017 to February 2021, and as an Associate at Faust Goetz Schenker & Blee from January 2013 to February 2017. In addition, they worked briefly as a Research Assistant for Professor Kris Franklin at New York Law School in May 2011 and as an Intern at Volunteer Lawyer For The Day from May 2011 to July 2011. Mary'sresponsibilities during their internship included performing intake interviews, negotiating with opposing counsel, and addressing the court on behalf of their clients.

Furthermore, Mary gained valuable experience as a Judicial Extern at The Hon. Arthur M. Schack, Kings County Supreme Court from January 2011 to May 2011. In this role, they conducted legal research and writing for drafting opinions, observed trials and motion arguments, and interacted with court staff and attorneys.

Mary Adams completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science at Clark University from 2001 to 2005. Following this, they pursued their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree at New York Law School from 2009 to 2012.
