Dr. Sebastian Duda

Dr. Sebastian Duda has over 15 years of professional experience, starting in 2005 as a Researcher at the University of Tübingen, where they were responsible for research, teaching, and administration. Dr. Sebastian then worked as a Research and Program Coordinator at Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd, where they were involved in organization design, research strategies, and public funding.

In 2011, Dr. Duda became a Research Manager at Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW), focusing on organization design, research strategies, and grant proposals. Dr. Sebastian later joined Hochschule Esslingen - University of Applied Sciences as a Research Manager, where they were responsible for funding grants, research strategy, international cooperation, and the creation of the Start-Up Education Center.

In 2016, Dr. Duda transitioned to the role of Program Manager at Technical Academy Esslingen, managing further education programs, university/company relations, and B2C sales. Dr. Sebastian then became the Head of Executive Education and Sales Operations at Jacobs University Bremen, overseeing the design, roll-out, and sales of tailored Talent Development programs for international corporations.

In 2017, Dr. Duda joined Gartner as a Business Development Executive, specializing in providing research and advisory services for HR leaders. During their time at Gartner, they focused on serving CHROs, CPOs, VPs of HR, HR Directors, and CDOs.

Currently, Dr. Duda serves as a Senior Sales Director DACH at EdCast, an AI-Powered Knowledge Cloud platform. In this role, they are responsible for driving sales and business development initiatives across the DACH region, working with Global 2000 companies and large government organizations to solve the discovery and curation problems of knowledge sources.

Throughout their career, Dr. Duda has gained expertise in research, program management, sales, business development, and executive education. Dr. Sebastian has worked with various organizations, ranging from universities to technology companies, and has a strong focus on knowledge management, talent development, and human resources.

Dr. Sebastian Duda obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Literature from the University of Tübingen, where they studied from 2000 to 2009. In addition, they obtained a certification in IPMA (International Project Management Association) from GPM Deutsche Gesellschaft für Projektmanagement in December 2015.
