In 2020, Joshua joined Bookscribs.com as the Chief Linguistics Officer, Technical Lead, Project Manager, and HR Manager. Joshua recruited and trained new team members, managed various teams including Data Science, Data Engineering, Application Development, QA, and UX/UI Design, and conducted performance reviews.

Joshua then took on the position of Technical Program Manager, responsible for prioritizing and managing multiple NLP projects related to story adaptation to film.

In 2022, Joshua worked as a Machine Learning Architect at Dreamers Inc., where they planned and implemented NLP solutions, developed ML APIs, managed cloud budgets, and worked directly with clients.

Joshua also founded Spiritual Data, a non-profit project focused on organizing spiritual research and information to calculate the probability of spiritual hypotheses. The project has a growing team and emphasizes intellectual humility and autonomy.

Currently, Joshua is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at EdCast by Cornerstone, where they use skill taxonomies to recommend learning content and ensures the team meets commitments to customers in the field of machine learning.

After that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree at Brigham Young University from 2014 to 2016, majoring in Computer Science and Spanish Translation. Joshua further enhanced their knowledge and skills by pursuing a Master's degree in Computational Linguistics at the University of Washington, where they studied from 2017 to 2019.
